Steven Hill

The five most important topics I want to do in ascending order

1) Life of a chef (interviewing my dad)
2) Life of a teacher (my girlfriends mum)
3) Business of subway
4) Retired life
5) college life

I chooses these five subjects to consider because they all do seem interesting and the fact that i want to become a teacher could be a good one! However they are all achievable subjects as well. Any concerns or ideas for questions would be great! thanks for reading

My name is Scott Rucci, I'm from Upper Darby High School which is located right outside Philadelphia Pennsylvania. I am a freshmen at BU, and majoring in Marketing. I haven't decided on what I would like to minor in. I was planning on psychology, or economics. My interests are playing football, video games, working out, and being with my friends. I have one older brother who is a junior at Elizabethtown college, and plays lacrosse.

Dealing with a shopping addiction is like dealing with 21st century teenager without their cellphone, inseparable! My name is Kelsey Edwards and I'm a shopaholic. When it comes to shopping, I just don't know how to say no. I'll have no reason to buy something, yet see it's on sale and just like that, I'm an owner of a new unnecessary accessory. I also have a problem with eating unhealthy foods. So in other words, I'm a junk food freak. I tend to start out the week in a healthy manner, then once I crave something sweet, my whole diet goes down the toilet. I love to hike when I have the free time on a nice day, exercising is actually one of my stronger suits, (Hard to believe with that sweet tooth of  mine huh? haha) and I am in love with my little Yorkie terror, Ginger, whom you can see a picture of below this paragraph. I have one older sister named Tracey who's also my best friend, and other than her, I pretty much keep to myself. Girls and I just don't clique as easy as many others do. I'm just more of a drama-free, comfortable in my own environment kind of girl. Definitely a home-body or whatever you'd like to call it. Besides being at home or shopping, I have two jobs, one being a hostess at the Williamsport hospital and the other a cleaning/register runner of a tanning salon. I love working because it keeps me busy and motivated. Also, the more money, the more shopping right?! I've been working since I was 16 and graduated a year earlier than my graduating class. Therefore it was the class of 2014, not 2015. From there, I then took a year off for what would be my senior year of high school to work and evaluate my options in what I'd want to take in school. Also to get a feel of what the job world was like as a full-time employee. I'd say that I was pretty successful in doing that because I was able to buy my first vehicle within that amount of school, while setting some aside to help for school. I now major in psychology. That pretty much sums up the general basics of me and what my life consists of. I'm excited to learn new things in this class and whole I'll be able to improve my writing skills!

Ginger Edwards. Born on October 9th, 2009.
My little princess.
(Who's also very spoiled.)

My name is Aaron Ovelman and I am 18 years old. I'm from Millville Pennsylvania. Millville is about 20 minutes from Bloomsburg University. A few of my hobbies are playing baseball, hunting with my pap, and hanging out with friends.

Hi, I'm Andrew!

Hi there!

This is Andrew Bower and I'm just posting about who I am and things I enjoy. I'm a web developer and I create websites for local businesses advertising?   and I also live down the road in Berwick which is a 20 minute drive from Bloomsburg University. I went to high school at Columbia Montour AVTS which is down Route 11 and it's a vocational technical school where I learned about computers and programming. I really enjoy programming and I might do tutorials in the future on YouTube to help educate people and see if they are interested in creating webpages or web applications. I'm currently undeclared at BU but plan on going into Computer Science. I'm not that exciting but I have something. Thanks! (Blue wrapper created in HTML/CSS)

About

My name is Zac Degler and I'm an 18 year old Business Marketing major from the Poconos, Saylorsburg to be specific. Back home I have a sister in cosmetology school, a mom and dad, a cat, and a dog - who's my best friend. In my free time I like to golf, hang out with my friends, and watch movies. I enjoy a lot of different genres of movies, but I mostly enjoy watching movies from directors such as Stanley Kubrick, Alfred Hitchcock, or Quentin Tarantino.

One of my favorite movies right now is Alfred Hitchcock's North By Northwest.

My friend's would probably say I'm a very honest person who can get along with anyone, which is what I like to believe as well. I have a lot of different interests so I find it easy to talk with people about almost anything. I hope this was able to give a little insight into the type of person I am, stay classy, San Diego.

About Miranda Yeakel

Hi, my name is Miranda Yeakel. I'm a freshmen and my major is Pre-k to 4/special education. So far I love BU! I am from Quakertown, PA. I am the youngest in my family, I have two older brothers and a sister-in-law. My oldest brother is Jonathan, he is 27 and is married to Kiersten, someone who has grown to be a big sister to me. They live in Bethlehem and both have their careers going strong. They both went to Temple University together and got married summer of 2015. My other brother is Sean (age 24), he lives in Delaware and graduated from PSU. He lives alone but has a great job in his field. He is the funniest guy I know. I got blessed with my lovely parents who would do anything for me. They are sweet and loving and I cherish them very much. The rest of my family is totally awesome. Everyone is so close and we are always laughing when we are together. I love spending time with my family and they are so important to me. As for me, I danced for whole my life and I continue to take classes at BU. I cheered for 13 years of my life as well and loved every second of it. Also, I am involved in the Big Brother Big Sister's program in the community. I have a little named, Isabell, she's in 3rd grade and loves "My Little Pony." My favorite color is purple I'm heavily  involved in my church back home. I helped teach Sunday school students for 5 years. I now help with the youth group since I have graduated high school. I go to events whenever I am home and hang out with my church friends. For the past 5 summers I have gone on church mission trips.  My church and 2 other churches go together to Camden, New York and help repair homes to make them warm, safe and dry. I love doing that and I love sharing a week with my good friends.  Over the summer time I try to go to beach to relax and catch some rays. In addition to that, my family and I go to Knoebels for a long weekend to camp and go to the park. It is such a great weekend filled yummy food, smiles, laughter, games, etc. I love sitting around the campfire and toasting s'mores.  I love the thought of exploring the world and one day actually do that. My dream job is to teach overseas for not so privileged kids. Within that I would want to travel to different low income places around the world.I love hanging out with my high school friends, dance friends, and church friends as well! So that's a little about me, here are some pictures that sum me up!

About Me

Hi, I'm Ashley Hess and I'm a freshman majoring in nursing. I live 45 minutes away from campus so I commute to school everyday to try and save some money. Eventually I plan on moving in an apartment either in Bloom or at least somewhere close to the campus. I'm the youngest and only girl who is stuck with two older brothers. I played field hockey throughout middle school and high school and was named team captain both my freshman and senior year. I played various positions throughout the seasons. I also was involved in swimming my sophomore and junior year and competed in backstroke and freestyle. I work nearly 35 hours a week as a waitress at the OIP in Berwick but still manage to only have a dollar to my name a week. My dad is my absolute best friend and probably one of the only people that even understands half the things I do. After college, I hope to move to Philadelphia to work in a hospital in the trauma center or emergency room. If things don't go as plan, I just hope that I'm content with where I end up in life.

Charles Manley

About Me

Hello my name is Charles Manley, but I go by Cj. I attend Bloomsburg University and I am currently undeclared. I am from Roxborough, a small town in Philadelphia Pa. I live with my mom and my sister and work at the daycare my mom runs. My favorite hobbies are playing basketball, watching sports, and hanging out with friends. I graduated from Bishop Mcdevitt with a class size of only 98. I am a Sixers fan, Flyers fan, and a Giants fan, but I am a fan of watching all sports just for fun.
Hello English 101-17,
My name is Alexis Ritter. I'm attending Bloomsburg University for my Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (RN-BSN). This school has only been the extension on my knowledge in the medical field as I come from the military (US ARMY NATIONAL GUARD-PA) as a combat medic, (68-W). I have been through the "hell" they call basic training in the military and "survived"; as well as entered into the job training of the second leading MOS in the Army. This is by far the best job I have so far in life, I'm in love with the tasks I'm handed in the military as well as the goals I achieve and reach in life, not only inside the military but beyond it as well.
Family is also a huge part of my life I believe everyone should have a support system whether it be from close friends or family or even just guardians willing to love and care for you. We all need to be loved and taken care of in life. I have a fairly large family with four different parts (maybe more if you count the extras) My mothers, father's, stepmother's, stepfather's family. My Brothers and I have dealt with the masses of family members from a young age. Unfortunately I have no sisters, only two older brothers and one younger half-brother (I don't consider him half, I consider him fully my amazing little brother!!!). Their names are Evan Micah, 24years old, Clay Emmanuel, 20 years old, and Drake Robert, 8 years old.
Hobbies and interests in my life include listening to music, drawing up new tattoos to someday enjoy, and driving everywhere under the sun. I also love to sing, my terrible voice (yikes!!!) (most people don't know that, except maybe my roommate and my neighbors in the dorm who tend to hear me often). Any other questions or comments about my life, feel free to post below and enjoy your wintery weekend ahead!
My Hometown is originally Shindle, in Mifflin County, but currently I reside at Port Royal in Juniata County Pennsylvania. I have moved often in my life, but not as much as a military family.

Sincerely-crazy redhead, Lexi Ritter

All About Me

Hello, my name is Zack Bennett. I am 19 years old and I was born in raised in a small town named Milton, approximately 20 miles from BU. Today marks the start of my second semester here at Bloomsburg. I am a commuter student and a Management major. I also hope to attain a minor or double major in the field of Economics. When I'm not in class or at the library, you will most likely be able to find me at the gym, or back in my room listening to records and practicing on my bass guitar.

Music is something that has always
been very important to me. I can remember playing air guitar to classic rock songs since the time I could stand up on my own two feet. This past summer I was fortunate enough to attend my first ever music festival. I attended the Peach Music Festival in August the week before the fall semester kicked off. Overall, the experience was life changing. The performances were like none I had ever witnessed before. The energy in the crowd was electric, and the good vibes and dancing were contagious. The festival inspired me to become a musician. Just the thought of being able to make an audience feel like that had me dying to find an instrument I could play.

This past Christmas my dream came true. I woke up to a brand new Ibanez GSR200 electric bass guitar and the rest is history. I hope to use the knowledge I learn here at BU to start and manage my own band, recording label, and touring schedule.

Who am I?

My name is Steven Hill I am a current student at Bloomsburg University majoring in Secondary Education History. I was born and raised outside the United States and have only lived in this country for two years and a few months now. More about me is that I was raised for seventeen years in England and I love to play football (soccer to you guys). I also played some other British sports such as cricket, which I love, and I ran track for two years back home. Moving to America was something I've been wanting to do since I was only thirteen years of age. However; it was a bloody long process and took me two years to finally getting the ball rolling and then had to wait another two years for my visa.

More about me is that my favorite football team is Arsenal FC. They are a London based team and are located in Highbury, London. I've supported this team since I was at age seven and didn't follow the same club as my father, hes a Liverpool fan. Not only do I love the game but I have played since I was the age of four years old playing for clubs and travelling around the country more so into the age of sixteen when I played Sunday League and went to Wales which was awesome. Overall with all this experience I loved to travel with my team and witnessed victories and some loses and a lot of excitement. It improved me as a person becoming more sociable and outgoing if anybody would like to say hello to me don't be afraid im always available for a lovely chat.

Cara Sweeney

Hello!
My name is Cara Sweeney. I live about 3 hours west of Bloomsburg in Johnstown, PA. I'm a freshman and I am a American Sign Language/English Interpreting major.

I am in the Pennsylvaina Army National Guard. I completed basic combat training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina in the summer of 2014 after my junior year of high school. After completing basic training, I came back to Pennsylvaina to complete my senior year of high school. Once I graduated from high school, I went back down to Fort Jackson for my MOS, or job training. My MOS is a human resource specialist (42A). Unfortunately, my job as a human resource specialist is no longer available at my unit, so I will be reclassing to military police (31B) this summer. I am now in the ROTC program at Bloomsburg and plan to become an officer in the National Guard.

I also enjoy softball and marching band. I've played softball since I was seven years old. My favorite postions to play are first base, third base, and center field. When I was in marching band, I participated in colorguard for two years during my 7th and 8th grade years. I then switched over to flute my freshman year of high school and became my band's drum major my senior year. My brother was in IUP's marching band for two years, so I enjoy watching their band eventhough he isn't in it anymore. Here's a show that my brother preformed in.

My favorite sports teams are the Pittsburgh Pirates and Penguins. My favorite player in the NHL is Tom Wilson of the Washington Capitals. I also like the Johnstown Tomahawks of the North American Hockey Leauge. I attend almost every Tomahawks game with my boyfriend.

Sincerely,
Cara Sweeney

Kyle Frey

Hello!

My name is Kyle Frey. I've lived in Bloomsburg ever since I was 6 years old. In high school I played three sports including baseball, basketball and golf. My hobbies include playing sports and hanging out with friends. I have a little brother who is 15. I have two dogs who are German Short-Haired Pointers. My favorite sports teams include the Phillies, Eagles, Cavs, and Flyers.

My name is Thomas Weber and I can't think of a good, simple all encompassing noun to identify myself as. I am a lot of "things". I used to cook at a restaurant; wash dishes too, used to be a shitty high school student, but now I'm an okay college student; I used to be a business management student, but now I'm a political science major. Maybe those restaurant skills will help me out later in life. To catch me in this glimpse of time, to take a photo not in the past or the future, I'm at a crossroads. Hell, I'm even taking a self-proclaimed rigorous exercise course (gotta go from the field house to Bakeless in 15 minutes) and a 400 level history class. I am happy however, and I couldn't be more, to be caught up in a time when I am learning relates directly to the thing that pervades my mind more than it should: the 2016 presidential election. Maybe it's the time honored, universal college experience of being upset with the government; maybe you can call me a dissident.

John Van Buren

My name is John Van Buren. I attended Bloomsburg high school and am now a student here at BU to study criminal justice. I am an outdoorsy person and dislike sitting around not doing anything. My main hobby is motocross. My family and I built our own private motocross track on our property and have friends over to ride about every other weekend. I raced briefly last year but stopped after a crash that injured my neck. Currently I only ride just for fun but will eventually get back into racing.

Hey, my name is Christian Rusch. I grew up in Hatboro, PA. which is a little over two hours away, 25 minutes from north philly.
Hi!
My name is Vrunda Desai. I am freshman at Bloomsburg University. I live in Mountain Top PA, around 35 minutes from University and I commute to college every day. I love painting specially acrylic painting. Painting just make me feel good and relax. And I'm doing Chem. major.

About me

Hi, my name is Stephanie Evans. I am a senior Environmental biology major.
My hometown is Mount Carmel, PA, which is near the amusement park, Knoebels.
I love animals, especially marine animals, such as dolphins.
